We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both general and tax accounting, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also taking initiative on key financial responsibilities. Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule, incorporating input from the accounting department. Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and proper ledger maintenance. Analyze financial statements for discrepancies or issues requiring management attention. Review and process all inter-company transactions, generating invoices as necessary. Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a regular basis. Delegate and oversee financial responsibilities across the accounting team. Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist the owner in conducting audits. Perform regular ledger maintenance to ensure accurate records. Manage tax preparation activities, including document retention for sales and use tax. Audit the work of previous bookkeepers to ensure accuracy and compliance. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. 5+ years' experience in general or tax accounting. 3-5 years' experience with QuickBooks Enterprise (required). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computerized ledger systems. Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail. Proven ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
