This role owns key parts of our full accounting cycle, from the general ledger, accounts payable, and monthly financial statements to WIP, project costing, and commercial revenue recognition. You'll supervise and develop staff accountants, partner with our Accounting Manager, and have the capacity to take on larger projects as the company grows. What You'll Do Supervise, train, and review the work of staff accountants Own month-end close deliverables, including review of journal entries and account reconciliations Oversee the AP process, vendor management, and payment approvals Prepare the monthly Balance Sheet and P&L across multiple entities Manage consolidation and intercompany activity, including eliminations Own the monthly WIP schedule and job cost reporting Manage commercial revenue recognition under ASC 606, including over-time recognition on long- term projects Analyze over/under billings, project margins, and cost-to-complete estimates with operations and project managers Ensure project costs are captured and coded accurately in NetSuite Oversee Ramp administration and customer job funding coordination Build and improve processes, internal controls, and documentation Develop NetSuite saved searches, reports, and workflow improvements Support external audits and tax preparation Lead special projects, system improvements, and ad hoc analysis as company needs evolve What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience in construction, solar, energy, or other project-based accounting strongly preferred Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition NetSuite experience preferred, ideally including saved searches and reporting Multi-entity consolidation and intercompany experience a plus Advanced Excel skills Experience supervising or mentoring staff Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a strong ethical code Why Join Us A leadership role with real influence over how our team and processes are built Broad exposure across GL, project accounting, and revenue recognition The chance to shape systems and take on strategic projects as the company scales Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Health savings account Life insurance 401(k) 2 weeks PTO and 8 paid holidays Referral program
