ProspectBlue is partnering with a growing restoration and project-based services company that is looking to add a Corporate Accountant to their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Staff or Senior Accountant who enjoys being hands-on, digging into the numbers, and working closely with a Controller. This person will play an important role in the month-end close, financial reporting, WIP accounting, cash flow forecasting, tax compliance, and financial analysis. What you'll be doing:- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
- Prepare and analyze WIP schedules
- Support month-end close and financial reporting
- Prepare flash reports, KPI scorecards, and financial analysis
- Assist with weekly/monthly and 13-week cash flow forecasting
- Handle multi-state Sales & Use Tax and Personal Property Tax filings
- Support audit preparation and GAAP research
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards
- Assist with acquisitions, ERP data migration, and other special projects
- Partner closely with the Controller and CFO on accounting and process improvements What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5+ years of accounting experience
- Staff or Senior Accountant experience preferred
- Construction, restoration, or project-based services experience is a plus
- WIP or percentage-of-completion accounting experience is a plus
- Multi-state tax experience preferred
- Sage Intacct or similar ERP experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Someone who can work independently and enjoys solving accounting problems
