Job Description

LHH is partnering with a large company to search for a temporary Accountant to cover for the next six months. You will be handling month-end close, processing journal entries, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have their bachelor's degree and at least a year of accountant level experience. There will not be a ton of training for this role so the person joining the team needs to be comfortable learning quickly and being resourceful to ask questions if needed. This is a fully onsite role in Bellevue, WA.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation. Perform monthly account reconciliations, including intercompany transactions and fixed asset accounts. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports. Support general accounting functions such as payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable as needed. Prepare schedules and provide documentation for annual audits. Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis. Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager or senior accounting staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Associate degree with equivalent experience may be considered). At least a year of experience in general accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve discrepancies. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.
Pay Details:
