Full Job Description Accounting Administrator Property Management and Project Development Company Position Overview:
is looking for an Accounting Administrator to assist with large ongoing construction project, including general accounting functions, property portfolios, and office support. This role is responsible for performing a variety of clerical and financial tasks to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial information. The Accounting Administrator works closely with property managers, tenants, vendors, and other team members to maintain organized records and support the company's financial operations.Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, rent payments, and expense reports for up to four companies.
- Reconcile bank statements and company credit card transactions.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and reports.
- Support monthly and annual financial closings.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial statements.
- Communicate with tenants and vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment status.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems, both electronic and paper-based.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably within property management or real estate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfort with multitasking and adapting quickly to changing priorities.
Work Environment:
- Office-based position
- Standard business hours with flexibility for project demands or urgent deadlines.
