Accounting managers in the Salinas Valley, please check out this role! Our client is a major name in agriculture. They are looking for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join their organization in Watsonville, California on a W2 hourly consulting basis. This role is well suited for a detail-oriented accounting leader who can combine hands-on accounting expertise with team leadership. This is a fast-paced, high-volume setting (you won't be bored here!). The position will focus on cost accounting support and analytical review of general ledger accounting. If you have worked for an agriculture company (grower), then you will have a high likelihood of succeeding in this role.

This role is 4 days/week onsite and 1 day remote. There may be a chance for overtime. There is also a chance this role goes beyond 4 months.

• Support cost accounting activities by assessing reports, reconciling balances, and identifying issues that require follow-up or correction.
• Oversee balance sheet account activity and reconciliations to help ensure the integrity of monthly and ongoing financial reporting.
