Coordinate and supervise the day-to-day activities of the Accounts Payable team to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant operations Coach, support, and develop team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment Oversee invoice processing, vendor account reconciliations, and payment requests while ensuring adherence to established deadlines Review and approve payment runs, ensuring the accuracy of transactions and alignment with cash management objectives Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve payment discrepancies, invoice issues, and escalated concerns Participate in month-end and year-end close activities, including account analysis, accruals, and reconciliations related to accounts payable Establish, monitor, and maintain effective internal controls to ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements Analyze departmental performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service levels Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and implementing corrective actions when required Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, automation projects, and enhancements to financial systems and ERP tools used across FARO CREAFORM's global operations. Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs.
