About Modern Hops:

We are an extremely unique independent craft beer wholesaler/distributor based out of Alpharetta, GA. Our company is growing and we seek a full time delivery driver. This position has opportunity for advancement and promotion within the company. Benefits will be considered after 1 year of employment.

Summary of Position:

The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and knowledgeably pulling cases and kegs of beer from inventory and loading trucks with product. These products include beer, wine, and spirit cases. This is a physically demanding position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Basic job duties that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation: Load the delivery vehicle with inventory from pick list Pick all orders for delivery vehicles Deliver orders according to your routes, pick up empties, damaged product. Collect payment and provide customer service while at accounts. Unload truck at end of day Be punctual and professional Bring an energetic, cooperative, proactive, self-motivated attitude Grow within Modern Hops and expand your role as a key member of our team Employ innovative, creative thinking in all processes. Lead and help brewery and retailer employees as appropriate

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Clean driving record Alcohol industry experience a plus.

Knowledge:

Understanding of beer styles and handling Safe Operation of the Delivery Vehicles Proper beer storage procedure

Skills:

Utilize a hand truck and pallet jack Proper palletization techniques Strong directional skills Ability to problem solve Basic math skills

Punctual Physical Requirements:

. The job will require lifting of kegs up to 170 lbs, using a hand truck to move kegs around, and loading/unloading the truck.
