We're actively seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you'll take the lead on audits, reviews, and other assurance engagements for a diverse range of clients. You'll work directly with clients, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance every step of the way. If you're a CPA or CPA-eligible accountant who thrives in collaborative environments and is passionate about audit excellence, this is your ideal next role.What You'll Do:
Lead audits, reviews, and compilations from planning through completion Prepare and review workpapers and financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other applicable standards Mentor junior staff and manage multiple client engagements Conduct internal control and risk assessments to identify process improvement opportunities Communicate proactively with clients regarding engagement progress, audit findings, and recommendations Research and resolve complex accounting and auditing issues Ensure engagements comply with professional and firm standards, as well as deadlinesWhat We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's or CPA preferred) CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam 3-5+ years of public accounting experience focused on audit/assurance Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and internal controls Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit/accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, ProSystem fx Engagement) Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and teamsWhy Join BMSS:
