Job Description

Overview Are you looking to start or grow your career in manufacturing quality? Join our team as a Quality Auditor and help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. In this hands-on role, you will inspect products throughout the manufacturing process, perform dimensional and visual audits, and work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to identify and resolve quality issues. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to develop technical skills in quality assurance, precision measurement, and manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Perform in-process and finished goods audits to verify compliance with product specifications and quality standards. Use precision measuring equipment, including height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision inspection systems, calipers, and other inspection tools. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) requirements. Conduct dimensional and visual inspections to ensure products meet customer and company requirements. Document inspection results, non-conformances, and audit findings accurately and thoroughly. Analyze inspection data and quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Partner with Production teams to support corrective actions and prevent recurring quality issues. Maintain inspection records, calibration logs, and other quality documentation. Collaborate with Engineering and Suppliers to investigate and resolve product quality concerns. Support compliance with quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical training, certifications, or coursework in manufacturing, engineering, or quality is a plus. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMMs, and vision inspection systems. Understanding of GD&T principles and dimensional inspection practices. Knowledge of quality systems, QA/QC processes, and data collection methods. Exposure to
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP, FDA
regulations, or other quality standards is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel. Previous manufacturing, inspection, or quality experience is preferred but not required. Pay:
$23.20 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
