Job Description
Audit Manager | Coral Gables | $100k to $160k + Client Commission This firms sits in a pretty sweet spot, where it's big enough to give you strong clients, proper resources and progression, but small enough that people know who you are, Partners are accessible and you're not swallowed up by layers of management. The firm has around 45 people and seven Partners and Principals, and has been family owned since the 70's. Culture is a big reason people stay. I've already helped a Tax Manager join this firm from a much larger practice. They were tired of the long hours, lack of flexibility and feeling like work always came first. Since joining, the feedback has been excellent. More freedom, more trust and a far better balance. There are no mandatory hours and no expectation that deadline season means giving up every evening and weekend. Even around busy periods, people are generally heading home no later than 6pm. The firm is around 75% Audit and 25% Tax, working with privately owned businesses, schools, Non-Profit organisations and family owned companies. As Audit Manager, you'll run engagements from start to finish, work directly with clients, support the team and have plenty of exposure to the Partner group. There's also strong earning potential if you want it. Managers and above are encouraged to bring in clients and build their own book over time. When you bring a client into the firm, 60% of the profit generated from that client goes to you, ongoing. The earning potential here is huge. If you're commercially minded and want to build a book, there's no real ceiling on what you can earn. You're not just helping grow the firm, you're directly rewarded for the business you bring in, year after year. You don't need to arrive with a book. The opportunity is simply there for someone who wants more control over their long term earnings and career. You'll also receive 4 to 5 weeks PTO, health insurance, 401(k) and flexibility around hybrid working. If you want the resources of a mid sized firm, the culture of a smaller one and the chance to earn more without sacrificing your life to do it, this could be the perfect move for you.
