Description:
Relief Managers are responsible for covering Branch Manager's that are utilizing PTO time. Capital District OTB is looking for a Relief Manager who can work schedules that are flexible but based on a 40-hour workweek over five (5) or six (6) days a week depending on the needs of the Branch Operations Department. A typical workweek runs Wednesday - Sunday from 11:00AM - 7:00PM (weekends and holidays are a must). This position involves local travel to branch locations. Relief Managers should call into Branch Operations at 518-344-5240 by 9:30AM at the latest every scheduled morning. $1,000 - SIGN

Responsibilities:
Supervision of branch facilities and operations. Perform daily reconciliation of branch activity. Maintain and balance a cash drawer. Sell or cash lottery tickets in accordance with policies and procedures. Educate customers on how to wager at self-service terminals. Bank deposits as needed. Responsible for security, efficiency and cleanliness of both inside and outside of the branch. Provide outstanding customer service and racing entertainment to our patrons. Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have own reliable transportation and be able to work at any assignable location within approximately 40 miles on occasion. Experience handling cash transactions. Banking or teller experience is highly desirable.
Skills & Abilities:
Positive attitude and solid work ethic. Eager to learn and able to take directions. Excellent customer service abilities. Ability to work independently. Reliability and Dependability is a must.

Capital District Regional Off-Track Betting Corporation is a public benefit corporation formed in 1975. Capital OTB provides legalized wagering on horse racing and lottery products with all profits distributed to local governments and the racing industry. Over a span of 50-plus years the corporation has 13 branches and more than 32 EZ Bet locations throughout New York State.
Pay:
$18.00 per hour Application Question(s): Are you able to work from 11AM-7PM Wednesday through Sunday including holidays?
