We are hiring a Collections Coordinator to join our team!
Job Summary:
The Collections Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely recording of incoming payments, maintaining financial records, and processing invoices for a company's customers. The Collections Coordinator will assist in tracking and resolving outstanding payments, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts. Essential Job Functions /
Responsibilities:
Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts receivable data. Investigate and resolve any irregularities or inquiries. Monitor customer accounts for non-payment, delayed payment, and other irregularities Follow up on overdue accounts and pursue collection activities through a queue-based system. Communicate with customers via phone, email, or mail regarding their accounts and outstanding balances. Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate records of customer accounts and provide assistance during audits Work collaboratively with the accounting team to improve processes and systems. Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus. Previous experience in accounts receivable or collections required. Familiarity with accounting software and basic accounting principles. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
