We're a growing American manufacturer looking for a Junior Sales Engineer to help customers find the right solution for their site. Job Summary The Junior Sales Engineer bridges sales and engineering: answering customer inquiries, understanding site requirements, recommending the right Ecojohn system, and preparing accurate quotes and documentation. This is an entry-level role with strong growth potential for a technically minded, customer-focused person. Responsibilities
  • Respond to inbound leads and customer inquiries by phone, email, and online
  • Customer Service and Technical Support
  • Make outbound (cold) calls to prospective clients
  • Research online for new potential leads
  • Learn customer needs (site conditions, usage, power, and permitting) and recommend the right product
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and product specification sheets
  • Work with engineering and production to confirm configurations and lead times
  • Provide technical product support and answer questions on installation and operation
  • Maintain customer records and follow up on leads in the CRM
  • Support trade shows, demos, and marketing efforts as needed Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office/Excel; CAD or CRM experience a plus
  • Mechanical or electrical aptitude and ability to read drawings
  • Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable following up with customers
  • Interest in sales, off-grid living, new green technology solutions is a plus
  • Valid driver's license; occasional travel for trade shows or site visits
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
