Gilbert, AZ Job Details Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Accounts payable Full Job Description The AP and Compliance Specialist's main responsibilities are to accurately and efficiently manage all Vendor and Subcontractor payments, ensuring all required compliance documents are in order prior to payment issuance.
- Prepare and process electronic payments (ACH, credit cards) and checks
- Monitor payment schedules to ensure timely disbursements to avoid late fees
- Address payment inquiries from subcontractors and company employees
- Generate and maintain accounts payable aging reports and payments activity summaries
- Monitor and interpret applicable regulations and industry guidelines relevant to the organization
- Assist in developing and updating compliance policies and procedures and training materials
- Correspond with subcontractors regarding compliance requirements and policies
- Investigate potential compliance violations, documenting finds, corrective actions, and outcomes
- Provide guidance to team members and other company associates with compliance requirements and best practices
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to demonstrate compliance
- Utilize AP automation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies in AP management
- Review work files prepared by others for accuracy and provide corrections if needed
