Full-Time About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Santa Barbara, CA. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in accounts receivable who is eager to grow their skills, learn new processes, and take on additional responsibilities over time. The ideal candidate has experience working in a high-volume accounts receivable environment, is comfortable working with Excel, and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and timely follow-through. Responsibilities Process and manage a high volume of accounts receivable transactions. Prepare, post, and reconcile customer payments. Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on past-due balances. Research and resolve payment discrepancies and account issues. Maintain accurate customer account records. Assist with invoicing, account reconciliations, and collections activities. Communicate professionally with customers regarding account balances and payment questions. Utilize Microsoft Excel to track, analyze, and maintain financial information. Assist with month-end and other accounting processes as needed. Work collaboratively with the accounting team and other departments. Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency. Take on additional responsibilities and develop professionally as the role grows. Qualifications At least 1 year of accounts receivable experience. At least 3 years of experience using Microsoft Excel. Experience working in a high-volume AR environment is strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities. Accounting or finance education/coursework is a plus, but not required.
