Job Description

RoMac is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting team. This is an entry-level position and a great opportunity for someone who is comfortable with technology, enjoys learning, and wants to build a career in accounting. What You'll Do As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will help make sure RoMac's vendor invoices, payments, and records are processed accurately and on time.
Your responsibilities will include:
 Entering and processing vendor invoices  Reviewing invoices for accuracy, proper documentation, coding, and approvals  Matching invoices with purchase orders, receipts, and other supporting documents  Helping ensure expenses are recorded to the appropriate branch, department, job, or area of the business  Assisting with vendor payments  Maintaining accurate vendor information and electronic records  Reviewing vendor statements and researching missing or outstanding invoices  Communicating with vendors regarding invoice and payment questions  Working with RoMac team members to resolve pricing, receiving, approval, and invoice discrepancies  Researching issues rather than simply passing them along  Learning and using RoMac's accounting, document management, and business systems  Helping identify ways technology can make our processes faster, easier, and more accurate Qualifications  High school diploma or equivalent required  Comfortable using computers and learning new software  Comfortable working with numbers and business documents  Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities, processes and business needs  Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with financial and company information

Full-time Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
