Job Description

Position Description Entry level position working collaboratively with other finance professionals, you will assume the responsibility for all accounts receivable functions. Working under general supervision and reporting to the Controller, this position will perform a variety of duties as outlined below. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follow the established process to issue daily invoices Send invoices to customers or upload invoices to customer portals in a timely manner Monitor and allocate customer payments Follow up on customer queries about invoices and payments Monitor customer account details for non-payment, delayed payment and other irregularities, and take actions to collect or adjust Perform account reconciliation and maintain customer accounts in accuracy Generate reports and perform ad-hoc tasks per as requested Position Requirements High School Diploma required. Additional education or experience a plus. US citizenship required Must be familiar with standard accounting concepts, practices and procedures Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and a familiarity with the Internet Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment Must be able to effectively communicate and interact professionally with employees at all levels SAGE experience helpful but not necessary.
