Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day accounting needs of a fast-paced manufacturing operation. We are looking for a dependable professional with strong bookkeeping fundamentals, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple financial priorities with accuracy and confidentiality. Calisota Parts is a growing precision manufacturing company serving industrial and commercial customers nationwide.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate day-to-day financial records and bookkeeping transactions Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice entry, payment processing, and customer collections Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts on a regular basis Record and categorize financial transactions accurately in QuickBooks Maintain vendor and customer account records and resolve discrepancies as needed Assist with month-end closing activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting preparation Track expenses, purchasing activity, and other financial transactions related to manufacturing operations Coordinate with management, purchasing, customer service, and operations to ensure financial records are complete and accurate Maintain organized electronic and physical accounting records and supporting documentation Support payroll, tax documentation, audits, and other accounting or administrative functions as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience QuickBooks experience is required Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is required Strong working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activity High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism and discretion Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve account discrepancies Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment
