Accounts Receivable Specialist Full-Time | On-Site |
Michigan City, IN Salary Range:
$45,000 – $55,000 annually Position Summary A growing multi-location organization is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support daily accounting operations. This role is responsible for cash application, invoicing, reconciliations, billing support, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a structured environment, and takes pride in accuracy and organization. Key Responsibilities Process and reconcile daily cash receipts and deposits. Review and reconcile sales and financial reports from multiple locations. Generate, distribute, and track customer invoices. Apply customer payments and maintain accurate account records. Reconcile accounts receivable balances and investigate discrepancies. Process vendor statements and support billing-related activities. Maintain documentation and accounting records with a high degree of accuracy. Assist with weekly and monthly reporting requirements. Support additional accounting and administrative functions as needed. Qualifications 1+ year of Accounts Receivable, bookkeeping, accounting, or related experience. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications. Ability to manage recurring deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
