Job Description
Mount Carmel Academy is currently seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as the Accounts Receivable Clerk . This full-time position is ideal for someone who excels at multitasking, organization, communication, and who takes pride in accuracy and confidentiality when handling financial records. Key Responsibilities Staff the Accounts Receivable desk, serving as a point of contact for all payment related questions and duties Process payments from students, parents, and faculty Handle deposit slips from faculty and staff Record and track tuition payments Maintain accurate records for lunch, club, and other school related payments Prepare and create bank deposits Monitor and maintain records for students receiving reduced or free lunch Coordinate with cafeteria staff to complete daily deposits Assist with general office duties and administrative needs as assigned Qualifications High school diploma required; Associate's degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred Prior experience in bookkeeping, accounts receivable, or a school business office needed Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software needed Familiarity with school accounting systems (e.g., FACTS, Admin Plus, PaySchools) a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial and student information Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable interacting with students, parents, and staff Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:
