Description:
We are seeking an entry-level Accounts Receivable & Administrative Support Specialist to join our nationwide company on a part-time basis (15-25 hours per week). This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career who wants to build hands-on experience across accounts receivable, payroll support, and insurance compliance functions within a growing, multi-state organization.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day Accounts Receivable using QuickBooks Online and Housecall Pro — this makes up the bulk of the role, including generating and sending invoices, tracking payment status, and following up on outstanding balances. Provide administrative support to the manager on payroll-related items, such as gathering documentation and helping track payroll data. Handle Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests — submitting requests, tracking receipt, and organizing documentation. Assist with general compliance tasks and documentation tracking as needed. Communicate consistently and professionally with staff, vendors, and management.
Qualifications:
No prior experience required but if you do have prior experience that will be a plus— this role is ideal for someone entry-level looking to learn the fundamentals of accounts receivable, payroll, and insurance administration. Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and/or Housecall Pro is a plus, but not required — training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Good communication and follow-up skills. Comfortable working independently and managing time within a flexible schedule.
Hours & Compensation:
