Waste Connections is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our GROWING team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

:

• Prepare and distribute invoices for assigned billing cycles to customers.
• Organize, produce, and finalize invoices for all special and sophisticated accounts.
• Process credits/refunds to customers as necessary.
• Reconcile Wires, credit cards, cash and check payments.
• Online decisioning for unidentified payments.
• Contact vendors as needed.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close.
• Review and analyze incoming information to determine validity.
• Assist with preparing batches and charging customer accounts.
• Audit accounts as needed.
• Other duties as needed.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must be detailed oriented and well organized.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• 2+ years of Accounts Payable/Receivable experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
