An Accounts Payable or Receivable Clerk keeps records of accounts and financial transactions, with specific responsibility for Accounts Payable/Receivable. Works for a business or bookkeeping service. Provides information for financial and tax reports completed by an accountant.
Assists with all office functions as required including AP/AR, phones, mail, etc.
Promotes and practices safety and good housekeeping.
Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
Will have access to proprietary and third party information necessary to the business and as such will perform duties in an ethical and professional manner.
Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.
What You'll Be Doing:
Process and reconcile incoming payments across multiple payment methods.
Monitor outstanding balances and investigate billing discrepancies.
Maintain accounts receivable records and reporting.
Partner with internal teams to support collections and issue resolution.
Assist with financial operations, documentation, and process improvements.
Support special projects and other accounting-related initiatives as needed.

Experience with booking systems, QuickBooks, and other accounts receivable/accounts payable software
Experience with CRM, ERP, or financial management systems.
Familiarity with reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support.
