Senior Bookkeeper - Real Estate & Restaurant Operations Sunnyand75 Hospitality Las Vegas, NV Job Details Full-time $70,000 - $80,000 a year 5 hours ago Qualifications Filing Financial records management Attention to detail QuickBooks Restaurant experience Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting and financial recordkeeping for a privately owned portfolio of commercial real estate properties and restaurant/hospitality operations. This is a hands-on position for someone who is highly organized, accurate, comfortable working across multiple entities, and capable of taking ownership of the books from daily transactions through monthly reconciliation and reporting. Responsibilities Maintain accurate books for multiple real estate and operating entities Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Manage accounts payable and vendor payments Track accounts receivable, tenant payments, and restaurant-related receivables Record and reconcile restaurant sales, deposits, credit card settlements, and other revenue Review payroll entries and properly account for wages, payroll taxes, tips, and related liabilities Maintain general ledgers and prepare monthly financial statements Review P&Ls and balance sheets for accuracy Reconcile intercompany transactions between related entities Maintain property-level accounting, including base rent, percentage rent, CAM and other property expenses Track loans, interest payments, fixed assets, and major capital expenditures Assist with annual CAM reconciliations and tenant accounting Maintain vendor files, W-9s, insurance certificates, and accounting documentation Assist with budgeting and cash-flow reporting Coordinate with restaurant management to ensure sales, payroll, inventory, and expenses are properly recorded Work with outside CPA and tax professionals on year-end reporting and tax preparation Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues before month-end close Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation Provide ownership with timely and accurate financial information Qualifications Strong bookkeeping/accounting experience Experience maintaining books for multiple companies or entities Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation Commercial real estate accounting experience strongly preferred Restaurant, hospitality, or other high-transaction operating experience is a plus Strong knowledge of QuickBooks or comparable accounting software Strong Excel skills Experience with POS and restaurant accounting systems such as Toast or xtraCHEF is a plus Comfortable working directly with ownership and operational managers Ability to independently investigate and resolve discrepancies Extremely organized with strong attention to detail Able to handle confidential financial information professionally What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is hands-on with the numbers and takes ownership of the books . The right candidate doesn't simply enter transactions. They understand how the accounts fit together, recognize when something doesn't look right, investigate discrepancies, and make sure financial statements accurately reflect the businesses. This person should be comfortable looking at a bank reconciliation, balance sheet, P&L, payroll report, tenant ledger, or restaurant sales report and identifying potential problems. Compensation $70,000-$80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to take on additional responsibility as our portfolio and operations grow.
