Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. This role is essential in managing the company's outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and maintaining smooth financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Sage 300 CRE accounting software, and possess excellent data entry and customer service skills. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment that emphasizes confidentiality, accuracy, and efficiency in financial processes. We work a 4-day work week February 1st - October 31st and a 5-day work week November 1st - January 31st. Duties Process and verify incoming invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders with precision and adherence to company policies. Enter data accurately into Sage 300 CRE accounting system. Reconcile accounts payable transactions by verifying documentation and resolving discrepancies promptly. Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing issues efficiently. Assist with month-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews. Support other accounting functions such as accounts receivable management, billing, and financial analysis as needed. Contribute to process improvements by identifying opportunities for efficiency enhancements within accounts payable workflows. Experience Proven experience in accounting environments with a focus on accounts payable functions. Familiarity with Sage 300 CRE accounting software is desirable, but we will train the right person. Experience handling accounts receivable alongside payable functions is a plus. Demonstrated ability in data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail is needed. Strong organizational skills coupled with customer service orientation to effectively communicate with vendors and internal teams while managing multiple priorities.

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
