Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented AP/AR General Accounting Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounts payable and accounts receivable experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Process and post vendor invoices accurately and efficiently. Ensure invoices are properly coded to the appropriate General Ledger accounts. Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues. Assist with account reconciliations and month-end accounting activities as needed. Accounts Receivable Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate account records. Perform customer collections and follow up on outstanding balances. Research and resolve customer deductions, discrepancies, and payment issues. Reconcile customer accounts and investigate variances. Prepare and maintain accounts receivable reports. Communicate professionally with customers and internal departments regarding account issues. Qualifications & Requirements 2+ years of experience in General Accounting, Accounts Payable, and/or Accounts Receivable. Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment strongly preferred. SAP accounting software experience strongly preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to analyze and manage large amounts of financial data. Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Positive, professional attitude with a strong commitment to teamwork and customer service. Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field strongly preferred. Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will be a dependable and detail-oriented accounting professional who can effectively manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, research discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
