full-time We're hiring an Accounting Specialist to support daily accounting tasks, including processing payments, invoices, and maintaining accurate records. Process invoices, payments, refunds, and credits Record customer payments and prepare deposits Review accounts, resolve discrepancies, and reconcile credit cards Communicate with vendors on billing and payment issues Track past-due balances and support collections Maintain accurate ledgers, files, and internal controls Assist with other administrative and accounting tasks as needed
Requirements:
- 3 or more years of experience handling both accounts payable and accounts receivable responsibilities in a fast-paced accounting environment.
- Proficiency in account reconciliation, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to research discrepancies and resolve payment or billing issues efficiently.
Construction accounting is a plus
