Job Description

Job Overview We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to manage full-cycle AP for our manufacturing finance team, including accurate invoice review, coding, and timely processing. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, is proficient in SAP, and understands purchase order processing, three-way matching, and vendor account management. Responsibilities Process up to 300 vendor invoices per week with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Review, code, and post PO-backed invoices in SAP while ensuring compliance with company policies and approval workflows. Perform three-way matching by verifying purchase orders, receiving documents, and vendor invoices prior to payment. Reconcile vendor statements and accounts, researching and resolving invoice discrepancies, pricing variances, and payment issues. Prepare and process weekly payment runs, including ACH, wire transfers, and check payments. Assist with month-end accounts payable close by preparing reconciliations, accruals, and supporting documentation. Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and increase operational efficiency. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required with equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience using SAP for invoice processing and accounts payable functions is required. Experience managing high-volume invoice processing in a deadline-driven environment.
