contract Aegis Administration is a national service contract administrator specializing in vehicle service contracts, home service contracts, and ancillary protection products. Our accounting team sits at the center of our operation. Partner remittances, reconciliations, cancellations, refunds, claims payments, and account activity all flow through this team. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Accounting Representative who understands both accounting and the service contract or warranty industry. The Role If you've worked with remittance reconciliation, contract cancellations, pro-rata refunds, dealer or agent payables, claims payments, or warranty accounting, you'll understand the rhythm of this position. We're looking for someone who can dig into the details, recognize when something doesn't look right, research the issue, and see it through to resolution. This position is remote-eligible for the right candidate. We care about accuracy, accountability, follow-through, and industry knowledge. What You'll Do Process and reconcile remittances from dealers, agents, and partner accounts Calculate and process contract cancellations, pro-rata refunds, and chargebacks in accordance with contract terms and applicable requirements Review, code, and process claims payments and service provider/vendor invoices Perform account reconciliations and research and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate accounts receivable and accounts payable records Prepare recurring reports for leadership on remittance activity, aging, and outstanding balances Work with claims, operations, and partner-facing teams to resolve account-level questions Communicate professionally with dealers, agents, partners, and service providers regarding balances, payments, and refund status Support month-end close activities and reporting requests Assist with audits and documentation requests Help document, improve, and streamline accounting processes as the company grows What We're Looking For 2+ years of accounting, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliation, or similar experience Experience in service contracts, extended warranty, VSC, home warranty, insurance, or a related administrator/TPA environment Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and working with large data sets Experience working with accounting, ERP, or financial systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfort working with high-volume, detail-heavy reconciliation Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage deadlines Ability to identify and escalate issues before they become larger problems For remote candidates, a private professional workspace and reliable high-speed internet Nice to Have Experience calculating service contract cancellations and refunds Experience with dealer, agent, or partner remittance reconciliation Experience processing claims or service provider payments Exposure to reserve accounting, insurer reporting, or claims cost analysis Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Why Join Aegis?
