Accountant / Bookkeeper - REMOTE in Miramar, FL Our client is seeking a hands-on Accountant / Bookkeeper to support accounting operations across a diverse group of 5-6 related businesses. This role offers exposure to multiple industries and real-time decision-making across AP, AR, reconciliations, and cost tracking. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving environment where no two days look the same and adaptability is key. Benefits & Extras Group health insurance (BCBS) with employer contribution toward premiums Dental and vision insurance coverage available 401(k) with employer match opportunity Generous PTO policy with flexible scheduling Remote work flexibility with autonomy over daily workflow Bonus potential based on performance Compensation $55,000-$75,000 base salary + bonus opportunity What You'll Be Doing Manage AP and AR across multiple related business entities Reconcile vendor invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor payments Perform monthly bank and GL reconciliations Process landowner lease payments and trucking-related cost reconciliations Support job costing, inventory tracking, and cost accounting activities Maintain financial records in QuickBooks Desktop Assist with month-end reporting and CPA coordination What You'll Need to be Considered Accounting, Finance, or related degree preferred or equivalent years of experience QuickBooks experience required Job costing or cost accounting experience is a plus Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Multi-entity accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience Ability to manage shifting priorities in a seasonal business environment How To Apply We'd love to see your resume, but we don't need it to have a conversation.
