In Person Pay:
$18.00-$20.00/hour We're a busy, growing dental group practice looking for an experienced Billing Specialist to keep our patient accounts accurate and our revenue cycle running smoothly. You'll own insurance billing, appeals, and accounts receivable across our offices — a great fit for someone who's detail-oriented, comfortable talking numbers with patients, and ready to grow with a practice that's expanding. What You'll Do Submit claims to insurance providers and process payments as they come in File appeals and reprocess claims when needed Manage accounts receivable for each office, keeping balances in a healthy range Send monthly patient statements and manage account statuses Follow up with patients on outstanding balances and deadlines, including collections letters when necessary Spot inconsistencies in accounts and resolve them Prepare and present AR reports to your supervisor What You Bring At least 1 year of dental billing experience (required) Working knowledge of dental terminology Comfort with Excel and dental practice management software A solid understanding of HIPAA and HITECH compliance requirements Willingness to follow the policies and procedures of a dental practice High school diploma required; an associate degree or some college coursework is a plus Why Join Us Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Employee discount A stable, growing practice where your work directly impacts patient experience and the bottom line
Location:
This role is on-site in Beaumont, TX 77708. Candidates must be able to relocate to the area before their start date if not already local.
