Bookkeeping Experience:

3+ years (Preferred) 3 Brothers Decking is looking for an organized, dependable Bookkeeper to support the financial side of our growing operation. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, keeping accounts payable and receivable organized, reconciling accounts, and helping management maintain a clear picture of company finances. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, pays close attention to detail, and can keep financial information accurate and current. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable Enter and categorize expenses accurately Reconcile bank accounts and credit card accounts Review customer payments and deposits Track outstanding invoices and overdue balances Process and organize vendor bills Maintain accurate vendor and customer records Assist with payroll records and payroll reconciliation Maintain organized documentation for transactions and receipts Review financial records for discrepancies Assist management with financial reports and cash-flow visibility Work with company leadership and outside accounting/tax professionals when needed Maintain confidentiality of company and employee financial information Help improve bookkeeping procedures and financial organization as the company grows Qualifications Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience Experience with QuickBooks preferred Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation Strong attention to detail Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities Comfortable identifying and investigating discrepancies Good communication and follow-through Proficient with spreadsheets and basic office software Construction, manufacturing, or small-business bookkeeping experience is a plus What We're Looking For We need someone who takes ownership of the books rather than simply entering transactions. The right person will keep records current, identify issues before they become larger problems, and provide management with accurate information we can rely on when making decisions. Experience working in a growing company where processes are still being improved is a strong advantage.
