Job Description

The QTI Group has partnered with a local organization to find a detail-oriented Temporary Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to support their accounting team for approximately six months. This role will assist with day-to-day AP and AR functions while working alongside experienced accounting team members who will provide training and support. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic accounting experience and working knowledge of QuickBooks who is looking to gain additional hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. Schedule & Pay Full-time hours preferred Approximately 6-month temporary assignment $25+/hour, based on experience On-site in
Columbus, WI Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable Enter and process vendor invoices accurately and timely. Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation. Prepare payments and assist with check runs. Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries. File and organize AP documentation. Accounts Receivable Generate and distribute customer invoices. Apply customer payments and maintain accurate records. Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collection efforts as directed. Respond to customer billing inquiries. Reconcile AR transactions and support month-end activities. General Accounting Support Assist with data entry and record maintenance in QuickBooks. Support account reconciliations and reporting activities. Maintain accurate and organized financial records. Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as needed. Follow company policies and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent work experience will be considered. Previous experience in AP, AR, bookkeeping, or a related accounting support role preferred. Basic experience with QuickBooks required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with team members. #MMAS
