Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations for a long-term contract opportunity based in Racine, Wisconsin. This position is ideal for someone who can manage the full bookkeeping cycle with accuracy, maintain organized financial records, and work confidently within QuickBooks. The role requires a dependable, detail-oriented individual who can oversee payables, receivables, and reconciliations while helping keep financial processes running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Handle complete bookkeeping activities, including maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the full accounting cycle.
- Process vendor invoices, prepare payments, and monitor accounts payable to ensure obligations are completed on time.
- Issue customer invoices, record incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances within accounts receivable.
- Perform routine bank and account reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain and update financial data in QuickBooks, ensuring transactions are entered correctly and records remain current.
- Prepare regular financial reports and assist with documentation needed for internal review or management reporting.
- Organize bookkeeping files and supporting records in a manner that supports accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness.
