Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site position in Casper, Wyoming True Companies is in a growth phase, and this role is available due to internal transitionreflecting our commitment to promoting from within.

Review reports and schedules to ensure accuracy of day-to-day transactions across multiple accounting systems.
Verify that controls and processes have been followedSupervise and direct work product of subordinates.
Review and approve direct reports' work (vouchers, schedules, etc.).Reconcile and identify issues within accounts within area of responsibility.
Work with operations and accounting departments to resolve problems.
Communicate with and negotiate with external customers.
File federal and state reports related to specific areas.
Prepare corrections and accruals.
Provide coaching and performance reviews for direct reports.
Implement training for new hires and identify training opportunities.
Address questions/complaints and resolve problems.
Complete understanding of accounting principles.
Attention to detail with the ability to verify accuracy in ones own work.
Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to read basic business documents (invoices, various financial statements, emails), as well as the ability to correspond in an informative professional manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize assignments and handle multiple activities while adhering to deadlines.
Ability to recognize training opportunities unique to each direct report.
Ability to reason and problem-solve to complete duties assigned.
Ability to carry out instructions and ask for help when needed.
Ability to calculate financial amounts and indicators. Preferred Education, Experience and/or Abilities Oil and gas experience.
ERP experience Oracle, Excalibur, E21, NextWorld as applicable.
Leadership, supervisory, and training skills. Computer Skills Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel software applications.
Knowledge of accounting software, ERPs.
Ability to master various in-house software applications is essential.
Ability to use a 10-key by touch; proficiency with computer keyboarding; and the ability to use a copier, fax machine and scanner.
Additional Eligibility QualificationsEnglish language fluency, verbal and written.
Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.

What You'll Do:
This position will provide support to our sister companies: Black Hills Trucking LLC & True Pipe and Supply.Review reports and schedules to ensure accuracy of day-to-day transactions across multiple accounting systems.

What We're Looking For:
Required Education, Experience and/or AbilitiesAn associates degree in accounting and four (4) or more years of accounting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.Complete understanding of accounting principles.
