Partner with underwriting and risk teams to oversee portfolio performance metrics, default tracking, loss provisioning (CECL compliance), and dynamic discounting models. Drive long-term financial planning, budgeting, and predictive modeling tailored to alternative lending revenue models, factoring fees, and future receivables discounting. Oversee complex multi-party revenue splits, ISO commission structures, and specialized syndication ledger accounting. Direct all corporate tax planning, annual audits, and compliance with federal, state, and emerging financial regulations governing alternative finance. Mentor and scale the finance and accounting department, establishing rigorous internal controls and institutional-grade financial reporting frameworks. Qualifications & Requirements An Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or MBA / master's in finance/Tax. Minimum 7-10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 3-5 years serving in a senior finance or CFO capacity specifically within factoring, specialty finance, or alternative lending. Expert-level knowledge of alternative lending software ecosystems, enterprise general ledgers (e.g., NetSuite), and advanced financial modeling/valuation tools.
