Position Summary The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides strategic financial leadership for Riverside Medical Center and serves as a key member of the executive leadership team. This position is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, supporting organizational growth, and helping establish long-range goals, strategies, policies, and financial plans that support the hospital's mission and vision. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred. Minimum of three years of financial management experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Minimum of three years of proven leadership and management experience in a healthcare environment. Strong knowledge of healthcare finance, budgeting, forecasting, reimbursement, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Excellent analytical, organizational, and strategic planning skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities with the capacity to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization. Ability to make sound decisions and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Emotional maturity and the ability to function effectively under stress. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to support the hospital's mission, goals, and long-term success. Collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop and implement organizational goals, strategies, policies, and growth initiatives. Direct and oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and revenue management. Prepare and present accurate financial statements, reports, forecasts, and analyses to leadership and the Board as requested. Monitor financial performance and recommend strategies to improve operational efficiency and financial outcomes. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and organizational policies. Oversee financial planning, cash management, reimbursement, and capital budgeting activities. Identify financial risks and opportunities and develop plans to support sustainable growth. Maintain confidentiality of all patient, employee, financial, and organizational information. Report safety hazards and initiate appropriate corrective actions. Participate in required safety and compliance education programs.
