Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial strategy of a growing plumbing and electrical supply company in Greensboro, North Carolina. This executive will guide fiscal planning, strengthen operational discipline, and provide leadership that supports sustainable expansion. The ideal candidate brings strong financial oversight experience, a practical understanding of construction-related business environments, and the ability to introduce effective procedures that improve performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct the company's financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning to support continued business growth.
  • Oversee accounting operations, cash flow management, financial reporting, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and stability.
  • Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and banking partners as needed.
  • Develop and implement financial procedures and governance practices that improve efficiency, accountability, and decision-making.
  • Partner with executive leadership to shape business strategies, evaluate performance, and identify opportunities for expansion and profitability.
  • Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, vendors, and financial institutions.
  • Monitor organizational financial health through analysis of key metrics, risk assessment, and actionable recommendations.
  • Support operational improvements by aligning financial priorities with company objectives and evolving business needs.
