Open to candidates willing to relocate A well-established agricultural cooperative is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join its leadership team and help guide the organization through its next stage of growth. This is a long-term opportunity with an established operation and a planned leadership transition as the current CFO prepares for retirement in 2027. What You'll Do Lead long-term financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting with consideration for agricultural commodity cycles. Oversee accounting operations, GAAP compliance, internal controls, and grain accounting . Manage financial risk related to commodity trading, grain inventories, and market volatility . Serve as a key financial advisor to senior leadership and the Board of Directors . Manage relationships with lenders, auditors, and regulatory agencies . Help ensure the cooperative maintains strong financial health while supporting its long-term goals. What We're Looking For CFO, Controller, or senior-level financial leadership experience. Previous grain accounting experience is required. Strong background in agriculture, grain, agribusiness, or cooperatives . Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial controls, and risk management. Strong understanding of commodity-driven agricultural businesses. Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
