Job Description

Full-Time Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent Trade school or specialized training relating to carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc. preferred
Duties:
Perform carpentry, plumbing, masonry, general electrical, painting, machine repair, and general repair. Use a variety of hand and power tools. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment. Perform scheduled maintenance service and repair. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust. Read and interpret equipment manuals. Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and unusual situations. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean, neat, and orderly work areas. Deliver mail service in the morning and afternoon. Transport laundry twice a day. Perform courier service for other locations as needed. Perform resident transfers as needed. Assist with emergency air ambulance as needed. The maintenance technician can perform general carpentry, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical tasks to repair equipment and/or machines. They can troubleshoot and diagnose problems and make necessary repairs independently.
