Duties:

Carry out all cleaning duties as directed. Ensure that daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to. Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene. Ensure that all cleaning equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in a safe condition. Adhere to infection control policies. Adhere to correct use of personal protective equipment (PEE) requirements. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed daily. Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written, and electronic communications. Dust furniture, woodwork, equipment, and dust-mop floors. Clean vents, fan fixtures, top of windows, door frames, and other high surfaces. Gather and dispose of trash and waste materials using specified bags and containers. Move furniture and other heavy objects as required. Perform terminal cleaning procedures of resident rooms and prepare rooms for new admissions; follow isolation procedures in isolation rooms. Clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors, and walls of bathrooms. Make supply packs for departments and put linen stacks in carts for distributions Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned. The environmental services tech ensures the provision of a clean environment for our residents and staff, providing high quality services and high standards of cleanliness, ensuring compliance with infection control procedures.
