Custard Insurance Adjusters, Inc. Property and Casualty Adjuster with opportunity to move into a management position We are growing our company and looking for motivated team members to grow with us! We are looking for individuals who are passionate about quality work and providing superior customer service. This is a great opportunity for an unproven and inexperienced individual interested in this dynamic industry. Custard offers hands-on training for this position. Job Summary Custard's adjusting team members provide a superior work product, demonstrate positive teamwork and collaborate with integrity and dedication. We are passionate about the service we provide and the environment that we create where we value our employees' futures. Our adjusters handle field activities outside the office including inspections, estimates, evaluations, negotiations and reports on property and casualty claims. Primary Responsibilities Execute thorough claim investigations; property inspections, preparing diagrams and taking photographs. Produce a timely, clear and concise adjusting report with findings and recommendation for claim settlement within deadlines. Negotiate and conclude claims. Respond timely to clients, policyholders, and coworkers. Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with all parties of the claim process. Flexibility to work outside regular business hours. Perform any other job-related tasks as assigned by the Manager. Desired Skills and Experience College bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred Evidence of current adjuster licensure for state of residence. Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service. Effective time management skills. Ability to work from home and self-manage your claim assignments. Demonstrated proficiency in Xactimate and Xactanalysis. Symbility experience a plus. Basic Microsoft Office 365 Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Business writing skills to professional communicate with clients, policyholders, and coworkers. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and a good driving record. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen. Strong interest to work in outdoor weather conditions, ascend and descend ladders, walking properties and other physical activities related to job description.
