Job Description

Horizon Global Partners has spent more than 30 years building home furnishings brands and supplying many of the largest retailers in the country. We are hiring a Product Quality & Compliance Manager to protect product integrity from the factory floor through import and final receiving. This seat carries real authority. You can hold, rework or reject product, and you can stop a purchase order from releasing. We expect you to use it. What you will do Own the product specification and sign off before we commit to a supplier or release production. Inspect samples and production goods at our Camarillo facility: construction, materials, finish, function, dimensions, packaging and labeling. Set the inspection standard for our teams in Vietnam and China, and decide whether production is accepted, reworked, held or rejected. Run factory corrective actions and verify the fix actually shows up in the next production run.
Maintain testing and certifications:
CARB and TSCA Title VI, TB117-2013, Proposition 65, PFAS, FSC and certificates of conformity. Verify country of origin, HTS classification, duty rates and import documents with factories and customs partners before goods move. What we are looking for Five or more years in product quality, compliance or product development for consumer goods made in Asia for the US market. Hands-on inspection experience, and the discipline to document a defect properly with photographs, measurements and a corrective action. You have personally held or chased the compliance documentation, not just read about the regulations. Experience running factory or third-party inspection programs and holding suppliers accountable. Furniture, upholstery, case goods, packaging and import experience are strongly preferred. National-retailer compliance experience is a plus. On site in Camarillo five days a week, with occasional early or late calls across Asia time zones. Structure and pay $70,000 to $90,000 per year, based on experience. On site in Camarillo, California. Horizon Global Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
