The client for this role is a manufacturing company in Beverly, MA Job Description Summary/Objective The Compliance Manager owns clients' contracting from intake to signature. Leads complex negotiations, drives faster cycle times, manages risk, and shapes the legal framework that supports the company's quality standards and growth. Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements to prevent legal risks. Develop and enforce internal policies and corporate values. Review customer, supplier, and employment contracts as well as customs and export-control matters for compliance with legal and internal requirements. Develop and implement compliance tools and compliance management systems. Conduct internal compliance audits. Prevent violations relating to data protection, corruption, corporate espionage, and other unethical conduct. Organize and/or deliver compliance training. Report to executive management. Qualifications Required Competencies Sound knowledge of relevant industry laws and regulations (e.g., commercial and business law, customs law) and standards (DIN, ISO, etc.). Strong IT skills, especially MS Office and databases. Fluent business English; additional languages are an advantage. Confidence, assertiveness, and strong conflict-resolution skills. Excellent communication skills. High resilience and ability to perform under pressure. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Travel Travel is not required for this role. $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
