This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned compliance professional with strong gaming experience and a deep understanding of regulatory requirements to take a key leadership role within a dynamic gaming operation. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Compliance, or a related field. CAMS, CFE, CFCS, or other relevant compliance certification preferred. 5 years + of casino/gaming AML compliance experience, with strong knowledge of gaming regulations and BSA requirements. 3 years + of supervisory/management experience with strong team-building and leadership skills. Experience working with Gaming Control Boards, FinCEN, and other regulatory agencies. In-depth knowledge of FinCEN/BSA requirements, including CTRs, SARs, customer due diligence, and transaction monitoring. Proven experience managing and enhancing an AML/BSA compliance program and risk assessment. Strong analytical, investigative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and collaborative demeanor. Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and regulatory deadlines. Ability to exercise sound independent judgment and maintain strict confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the casino's AML/BSA compliance program and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and gaming regulations. Oversee CTR/SAR reporting, transaction monitoring, AML investigations, and escalation of suspicious activity. Develop and maintain AML policies, procedures, internal controls, and risk assessments. Partner with internal departments to identify and mitigate financial crime risks. Serve as a key liaison with Gaming Control Boards, FinCEN, auditors, and other regulatory agencies. Lead, mentor, and develop the AML/Compliance team while fostering a strong culture of compliance. Manage regulatory examinations, audits, findings, and corrective action plans. Monitor regulatory changes and drive continuous improvement of AML processes, systems, controls, and training. Provide AML risk reporting, guidance, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership. Perform other duties and special projects as needed to support compliance and business objectives.
