regulatory compliance Hospital accreditation Bachelor's degree Full Job Description We are looking for a Director of Quality and Compliance to lead our quality improvement and regulatory compliance programs. You will make sure our facility follows all federal, state, and local healthcare laws. Proactively works to prevent situations that can result in losses or liability and help us give safe and high-quality care to our patients. Oversee audits, track changing healthcare laws, and fix any compliance issues. Create and run programs to measure and boost patient care quality and safety. Train, lead, and support the quality and compliance team. Find clinical risks early and make plans to stop them. Lead visits and surveys from groups like The Joint Commission or state regulators. Maintains all Quality data for the organization. Share safety data and updates with hospital leadership. Responsible for identifying risks of the hospital as a means to reduce injury to patients, staff, and visitors. Work proactively and reactively to either prevent incident or to minimize the damages following an event. Responsible for reviewing any changes in legislation and regulations impacting the field of healthcare. Assists in the development of risk management training programs. Provide input on clinical and quality issues and how the organization can make strong cases for improvement in areas such as infections, mitigation of errors, and improved safety culture. Requirements Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field. Minimum three (3) years of work in healthcare quality, risk management, or compliance. Strong knowledge of
HIPAA , CMS
rules , and patient safety standards. A current nursing license (RN) or certifications like CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) or CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance).
