Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team and champion our commitment to regulatory excellence. The Compliance Officer is responsible for overseeing operational regulatory compliance such as CRA, lending compliance, and deposit operations compliance for the Institution. The Compliance Officer will maintain and update, as necessary, the Bank's compliance program to ensure the Bank monitors and maintains compliance with lending, deposit, HDMA, CRA, and other applicable banking laws and regulations that affect operations and lending. Duties Implements the bank's compliance/audit program, including but not limited to CRA, HMDA, lending and deposit regulations. Develop and update policies, procedures, and forms. Perform periodic reviews of various compliance regulations, as applicable, for all departments of the bank. Maintain current compliance knowledge by keeping abreast of regulatory changes to laws & regulations. Present compliance and procedural training to bank staff, as necessary. Manage the Compliance Management System. Perform vendor management responsibilities. Develop and present compliance reports to the Board of Directors. Oversee the bank's CRA program and ensure the bank's compliance for community development loans and services. Prepare documentation for internal audits and regulatory examinations. Ensure remediation of items addressed in audits and examinations. Qualifications Knowledge of state and federal banking compliance regulations. Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills. Able to multitask while prioritizing responsibilities and tasks. Effective time management skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability in regulatory submissions including FDA submissions and EMA filings. Excellent data analysis skills with proficiency in compliance management software tools. Exceptional writing skills for preparing clear documentation, reports, and regulatory correspondence. Strong project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple compliance projects simultaneously. Effective cross-functional communication skills to coordinate efforts across diverse teams involved in research, manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
