Credit Analyst

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join a team in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This position focuses on evaluating customer financial information, supporting credit decisions, and helping maintain healthy cash flow through strong account oversight and collection efforts. The ideal candidate is comfortable working cross-functionally with sales and operations while managing account records with accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Review financial information such as income activity, savings patterns, payment history, and purchasing behavior to assess credit exposure and recommend sound lending decisions.
• Partner with sales and operations teams to address credit-related questions, support account approvals, and help resolve customer account issues efficiently.
• Reconcile customer statements each month and keep account details current to ensure accurate records and timely follow-up.
• Prepare and maintain accounts receivable reporting for credit leadership, highlighting trends that impact collections, cash flow, and account performance.
• Contact customers regarding overdue balances through calls and other outreach efforts to secure payment and reduce delinquency.
• Assist with credit support for both prospective and existing customers, including application review, account evaluation, and collection coordination.
• Use business tools and office software to organize reporting, track account activity, and communicate updates to internal stakeholders. Requirements
• Experience in credit analysis, commercial credit, collections, or accounts receivable support.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to evaluate credit applications and interpret customer financial information with accuracy.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across sales, operations, and credit teams.
• Proven ability to manage account reconciliation, reporting, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Comfortable handling collection activity in a detail-oriented and customer-focused manner.
• Experience with systems such as Apex or Command is helpful, but not required.
