Position Summary The Credit and Receivables Specialist is responsible for reducing eShipping's financial risk through managing standard credit and collection policies, vetting new customers to ensure they meet credit standards, sending and receiving credit agreements, and assisting the Receivables team to ensure customer payments are received in a timely and consistent manner. This role will work closely with Account Management, Sales, the Financial Operations Team, and eShipping clients. This position is also responsible for managing customer receivables through standardized collections processes and ensuring customer payments are received in a timely and consistent manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to the following: Confirm prospects and clients meet eShipping's credit standards Help ensure clients do not surpass credit limits Escalate potential AR risks by reporting to management Track communication in TMS Send and receive credit agreements Record credit details in TMS, HubSpot and SharePoint Monitor the credit inbox and respond to requests Negotiate credit terms with prospects and clients Provide customer service regarding collections issues Provide supporting documentation to the customer when needed for invoice reconciliation Establish and maintain effective working relationships with assigned accounts Maintain Past Due AR percentages to company standards Monitor customer base for potential credit risks Adhere to the collection team standard operations procedures Other administrative duties as required Required Skills and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
